Neosho, Missouri - Linda Jean Harvel was born April 17, 1944 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Harold and Vernice Myers. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family on April 30, 2026, at Oak Pointe Assisted Living in Neosho, Missouri.

Linda was a Neosho High School graduate, class of 1962. She continued her education at Southwest Missouri State College and Joplin Junior College. She later returned to Crowder College to earn her LPN and RN degrees. She was a compassionate and dedicated nurse whose calling was to serve the elderly. While she found great fulfillment in nursing, her heart was always at home with her husband and children.

On March 21, 1965 in Neosho, Missouri, Linda married the love of her life since the fourth grade, Thomas L. Harvel and they had two children. As a dedicated military wife, she supported her family with strength, grace, and unwavering devotion throughout the years.

Linda had a lifelong passion for sewing and created hundreds of beautiful quilts, each stitched with incredible artistry. She passed along her love of sewing and creativity to her children and grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy woven into both fabric and family.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Harvel, her children Justin (Amanda) Harvel, Tammy (Ben Davies) Ebbinghaus, her grandchildren Gracie (Dylan) Zarrabi, Colton Harvel, Gage Harvel, Lane (Maddy) Ebbinghaus, Maddie Ebbinghaus, and Will Ebbinghaus, and her brothers, Samy (Kathy) Myers, and Doug Myers.

Linda will be remembered for her caring heart, quiet strength, her devotion to her family, and the love she poured into every life she touched.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 1:00pm, also at Clark Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery. Her four grandsons will honor her as pallbearers.
