Nancy Sharon Stipp
September 22, 1941 - October 2, 2022
Nancy Sharon Stipp, age 81, passed away October 2, 2022, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 22, 1941, in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of the late James Spencer McCann and Ida Inez (McBride) McCann.
Nancy met Leslie Edward Stipp in Columbia, Missouri, and they were united in marriage on May 12, 1962, in South Bend, Indiana. He preceded her in death 30 years ago. She worked in the cosmetic industry as a sales rep manager for 50 years before retiring in 2017.
Nancy loved traveling worldwide; she hosted four foreign exchange students, was a member of the Merrymakers, a gardening club, and the MU Extension, taught an art class for many years, and was an animal rescuer.
Her two children survive her; Karena (Rhett) Stipp and Kyle (Kimberly) Stipp; four grandchildren; Kameron (Chae) Stipp, Jordan (Christina) Wirth, Walker Stipp, Landon Stipp, and four great-grandchildren; Avery, Oakley, Remington, Copelyn, two brothers-in-law; Jim Cline, Nolan Howe, sister-in-law; Doris Everett. In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy is preceded in death by sisters, Patsy and Barbara, brothers-in-law, Max, Whit, and sister-in-law Mary Lou.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clark Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri. Interment will follow at the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery in Newtonia, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Nancy Stipp to Faithful Friends c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26 Granby, MO 64844.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
