Joplin, MO - Sandra Kay Miksell, 63, of Joplin, died at her home on October 4, 2025 after a long-time illness. She was born on 11/21/61 in Joplin, MO, the daughter of Kenneth and Marilyn Miksell. She had been a resident of Joplin most of her adult life and had grown up in Oklahoma. She had been married and divorced twice. She loved her family fiercely and will be missed by them. She loved to spend time with her family and her biggest hobby was watching movies from her large collection of dvd's. Survivors include her son Jason Miksell and partner Kim Ness of Joplin, brother Richard Miksell and his wife Stephanie Miksell of Ponchatoula, LA, sister Patti Randall of Joplin, niece Abby Randall and her partner Justin Orns of Duenweg, MO, great niece Juniper Orns of Duenweg, nephew Jacob Miksell of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Marilyn Miksell, brother Allen Miksell, brother-in-law Pete Randall and 2 grandsons.
