Steva  Wyatt
Steva Sue (Hilton) Wyatt, of Webb City, MO, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Freeman Hospital, in Joplin. She was 89.
Steva was born on March 20, 1930, in Crane, MO, to Clifford W. and Edrie Margarette (Rickman) Hilton. She lived in the area most of her life. She was a line worker for Berry Garment Factory for many years.
She was a member of First Assembly of God, in Baxter Springs, KS, from 1945 to 1999, before moving her membership to First Assembly of God, in Carl Junction. Steva was the Sunday School secretary for 20 years, taught Children's Bible School and made peanut brittle for 16 years and part of women's ministry for 30 years. She also was the volunteer janitor, sang solos and lead children's music.
She married Robert Adrian Wyatt, in Baxter Springs, on May 6, 1948. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2019.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Wyatt and wife, Jennifer, of Joplin, Ronald Wyatt and wife, Kelley, of Tonganoxie, KS; daughter-in-law, Janice LeMasters and husband, Rick, of Jasper, MO. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Steva is preceded in death not only by her husband, but also her parents; a son, Richard Dale Wyatt; a brother, Eldon Hilton; and a sister, Betty Stephens.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 21, at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel, in Baxter Springs. Burial will follow in the Lowell Cemetery. A visitation will be held on the same day from 1-2 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Assembly of God, in Joplin.
