Steve loved being outside working around his house. He loved to hunt and fish. He especially loved to turkey hunt. He enjoyed participating in fishing tournaments. Steve liked planting a garden and at different times had so many cucumbers and cantaloupes that he had a hard time finding people to gift them all to. He was always willing to help his friends fix things. He found friends everywhere he went. Steve had quite a following of medical staff at KU; he was very loved.
