Vincent R. Lindstrom
Vincent Rodney Lindstrom passed peacefully on January 13, 2020 at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Genevieve Lindstrom, and many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins. Vince is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Clark of Maple Grove, MN, his beloved dog Teddy; his daughters Lisa Lindstrom (Anneka, Elsa and Greta) of Lake Park, MN, Liv and Drew Gregor (Quinn and Hana) of Nairobi, Kenya; Suzanne and Allen Wheeler (Annaliv, Hailey, and Jesse) of New Hope, MN and Carrie Preusse of Chaska, MN; and Joplin family including Linda Clark, her daughter Christine Rhoades Day (Brett), children Michael and Abigail and her son Clark Rhoades (Chyna), children Kennedy and Isabel.
Vince was a master of enthusiasm, optimism and positivity which he brought to all the careers he had including as the director of The Convention and Visitor Bureau of Joplin from 2008-2010. He was proud of the work he did on The Mother Road Marathon and the Christmas Experience with Joplin Sister City in Bethlehem.
Until the end of his life, he shared his gratitude meditations daily with his many friends and family on Facebook. The celebration of life service will be held at Eksjo Lutheran Church in Lake Park, Minnesota on Saturday, January 25th, at 11am.
