Grove, OK - William Andrew (Andy) Eck, born October 11, 1943, in Enid, Oklahoma, passed peacefully on April 27, 2025, near Coweta.

Growing up in Ringwood and then Afton, Andy's musical gifts took root early within a family filled with music. Andy's music career began in Vinita in 1964, managing McClain Music until 1979. He married Cheryl Patrick in 1964, welcoming daughter Susan. Later, Andy opened Andy Eck Music Company in Grove, and then two more stores over the next 28 years, becoming a respected music resource in the area. He later moved to North Carolina and consulted for a local music store.

A former Mennonite who became Episcopalian, Andy was active in the Vinita and Grove Chambers, earning "Man of the Year" in Grove.

Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Cheryl Guyaux, and stepson Steven Green, Andy is survived by his wife Charlene Briggs-Eck, daughter Susan (Mike) Eck, sister Julie (Bert) Lowry, stepchildren Gina Lynch, Michael Briggs, and Zane (Cindy) Briggs, stepmother Vernice Eck, and numerous other relatives.

Remembered for his kindness, love of family, friends, music, fishing, and OU football, Andy's generosity touched many. Services will be held May 16th at 3pm at St. Andrews Episcopal in Grove.
